Gundam,pasti kawan kawan semua yang tau banget tentang anime pasti sudah kenal dengan judul anime satu ini. Ya,Gundam adalah judul untuk sebuah anime robot bergenre Sci-fi Mecha. Mecha sendiri artinya robot.
saya sendiri,sebagai penggemar Gundam semenjak main game gundam battle assault 2 di PS1 sudah mulai cari sana sini mengenai gundam,dari seri awalnya yaitu "Mobile Suit Gundam" hingga sekarang saya mengikuti "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn".
sekilas saja,mungkin ada beberapa dari kalian yang merupakan penggemar murni dari film anime Gundam atau ada yang sekedar tau aja.
nah,disini saya akan mengangkat pembahasan mengenai anime gundam yang sedang marak ditayangkan di jepang,yaitu Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn dan juga Mobile Suit Gundam Age. sungguh kawan,2 anime ini di kerjakan dalam waktu yang sama oleh pihak distributornya,Sunrise corp. lalu apa yang membuatnya berbeda?
bagi kalian yang pecinta atau baru kenal gundam maka akan tahu perbedaannya. menurut saya,Sunrise tidak bijak dalam mengambil langkah untuk membuat 2 anime gundam di satu waktu.
-kenapa dibilang berbeda kualitas standard? jawab: cukup sederhana,jawabannya ada terdapat pada inti masalah yang diangkat. dalam Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn lebih diangat konflik politik yang mendalam,mengenai suatu rahasia badan EFSF (Earth Federation Space Force) atau yang sesekali disebut EFF (Earth Federation Forces) yang dimana dalam konflik tersebut terdapat suatu benda bernama LaPlace Box yang berisi seluruh data mengenai pihak EFSF tersebut,dan pihak Zeon ingin mengambil benda tersebut, singkat cerita,disamping unsur poilitik,ada juga mengenai sisik psikologisnya,mengenai latar belakang "kenapa manusia mulai pergi keluar angkasa?" nah itu terdapat di episode 4 dari mobile suit gundam unicorn.
nah sekarang untuk Mobile Suit Gundam Age. cerita dan animasinya terbilang biasa,dan malah mengalami kemunduran yang jauh. cerita Gundam Age diawali oleh seorang anak bernama Flit Asuno,yang merupakan keturunan keluarga Asuno,yaitu keluarga pembuat mobile suit. suatu ketika,koloni tempat Flit tinggal diserang oleh mobile suit bernama UE dan akan disebut sebagai hari "the day of the fallen angel". dan disitulah Flit bertekad membuat Gundam untuk bisa menyelamatkan dunia. simpel bukan? tapi itulah ceritanya,intinya ingin menghancurkan pasukan UE untuk balas dendam atas perbuatan mereka dimasa lalu. ada sedikit konflik politinya disni,namun tidak sekuat Gundam Unicorn. yang seru dari Gundam Age adalah pembagian cerita menurut generasi penerus dari Flit Asuno. menurut saya gundam age diperuntukan bagi anak anak kecil dijepang.
lalu apa yang dipermasalahkan? begini,jika sunrise hanya membuat Gundam Age yang sepertinya terlihat kurang menarik karena hanya sebagai selingan untuk menunggu release episode selanjutnya dari Gundam Unicorn,lebih baik ditunda saja penayangannya. justru dapat menimbulkan kekecawaan fans gundam terhadap cerita gundam yang dimata mereka tidak ada konflik yang sepele seperti itu..
pesan buat sunrise,kalaupun ingin menargetkan kepada anak anak dijepang,kenapa tak coba masa keemasan Gundam Wing? toh juga masih dapat mempengaruhi anak anak seusia 10 tahunan :D dan cerita politiknya juga tidak sepele namun dapat dimengerti

Main characters Alfred Izuruha Al is an 11-year-old schoolboy, has a distant relationship with his father who works for the Earth Federation, gets mediocre grades in school and misbehaves in front of his mother and teachers. As a naive young boy who lives in the Libot colony of neutral Side 6, Al has little real idea about the war outside that is ravaging the Earth Sphere, and is fascinated by tales of mobile suit combats. He has a special interest in Zeon's Zaku mobile suits, which he regards as "cool". One day, Al meets a rookie Zeon pilot, Bernie Wiseman, whose Zaku is disabled and crashes after a short battle with Federation forces in the colony. Charlie Charlie is an old bartender who has lived on Libot his whole life and is good friends with Cyclops Team captain Steiner Hardy. Charlie is voiced by Minoru Inaba in Japanese and Alfred Thor in English.
Chay Chay is one of Al's school friends and acts as the ringleader of the group. Claiming his big brother is a Federation mobile suit pilot, Chay impresses his friends with what appears to be an authentic Federation Forces rank badge. Telcott Telcott is another friend of Al's. He is not as big a troublemaker as Al and Chay but he still shares their interest in war games. He seems to be something of a mama's boy, typically prefacing his comments with "My mom says..." Telcott is voiced by Ken Suzuki in Japanese and Mona Marshall in English.
Dorothy Dorothy is Al's goody two-shoes classmate, who's constantly getting into arguments with him and his pals. Al loathes her for that but when his first-hand experience with war eventually reduces him to tears, she proves to be a sympathetic friend. Dorothy is voiced by Konami Yoshida in Japanese and Melissa Fahn in English.

1.How Many Miles to the Battlefield?" The elite Zeon Cyclops Team is sent to the Arctic to stop a new Gundam prototype from being launched into space, but their mission ends in failure. On the Libot colony of Side 6, 11-year-old Alfred Izuruha meets up with Christina MacKenzie, who used to babysit him when he was younger. Little does he know that she is now a Federation pilot. Meanwhile, Cyclops Team sneaks into Side 6 while Zeon forces invade the colony. During the attack, Al runs into the forest to chase a downed Zaku and encounters rookie pilot Bernie Wiseman
2."Reflections in a Brown Eye" Bernie gives Al his badge in exchange for the video disc of his camera. Back at their secret hideout, Cyclops Team discovers that the disc contains footage of the warehouse containing the Gundam inside the Federation base.
3."And at the End of the Rainbow?" Cyclops Team smuggles parts of the mobile suit Kämpfer into the colony for their mission, with some help from Alfred.
4."Over the River and Through the Woods" Cyclops Team sneaks into the Federation base to destroy the Gundam, but the mission is a failure when their cover is blown and all but Bernie are killed in the ensuing gunfight. Meanwhile, Christina pilots the Gundam to fend off against the Kämpfer mobile suit sent to eliminate it.
5."Say it Ain't So, Bernie!" Following the failure of his team's mission and the deaths of his comrades, Bernie goes in hiding and is told by his informant that Commander Killing has ordered a nuclear attack on the colony on Christmas day.
6."War in the Pocket" In one last attempt to destroy the Gundam and prevent the nuclear attack on the colony, Bernie repairs his Zaku with Al's help and sets traps within the forest, using the armament left over by Cyclops Team. He then sets off to lure the Gundam into his trap, but Al receives word that the Zeon fleet sent to destroy the colony was intercepted and destroyed. Al rushes to the scene in an attempt to stop Bernie from continuing his mission, but Bernie is killed while the Gundam is severely damaged

alhasil,karena baru tau ada website seperti itu,saya langsung mengisi hari sambil menunggu berbuka dengan menonton online acara gundam tersebut. saya menontonnya di animekuro.com,disitu banyak sekali anime anime yang terkenal,baik yang masih ada di TV maupun yang sudah tamat.
ketika lagi streaming online SD sangokuden,aku mencoba mencari anime gundam yang lain,dan ternyata aku menemukan anime gundam 0080:war in the pocket yang merupakan OVA dari gundam series,dan ini adalah OVA pertama untuk gundam,selamat menyaksikan!
